Not to mention the stars watching them fall there goes another one now not to mention the stars Under the light of the moon it shines in your eyes there goes my world here comes the night (Were all just warming our hands by the fire how good it is to love somebody, just to love) between the thunder and the rain I'm yours like a train between the thunder and the rain caught in a storm heart like a drum waiting on a sign or a miracle to come (it was like nothing even mattered, before tonight)

No Country 02:49
There’s a piece of my heart no country can claim all I have in this world is my word and my name and if I am so lucky as to see you again I’ll be the fortunate one There’s a place in my mind that never forgets where forgiveness might be all that we get if there’s peace in this world I haven’t found it yet still I’m the fortunate one Bring us your tired, your hungry and poor if this isn’t privilege than what is it for when I stumble heaven forbid I forget I was the fortunate one There’s a piece of my heart no country can claim all I have in this world is my word and my name.

Cabbagetown 04:37
Planting cabbage Digging up the front lawn South of Gerrard street And West of the Don Absorbed by the city Along the Don river trail Winchester street to the Village of Don Vale A working class neighbourhood Before the Great War There was nobody left To be working for George Fox ran the tavern Until they tore it down That was the day I left Cabbagetown Invisible city Towers in the park Not even the cops Come around here after dark So long old friend I'll see you around That was the day I left Cabbagetown First it was on Berkeley Then one block east Parliaments no longer On parliament street I gave up the drink I don't miss it in the least I've got no family left Back in the east The roots can be murky Look at how far we've come Only as good as your word Don't forget where you're from I'll be here until they Burn it down That was the day I left Cabbagetown

Ebb and Flow 04:18
Took a piece of my heart she ain’t bringing it back I think I’m ok with that dance like thunder, blow wind blow Sweet little Frannie from the Ebb and Flow keeping me up all night, shaking 'em on down lighting me up, and turning it around drive right through the ice and the snow For Sweet little Frannie from the Ebb and Flow {a night to remember, no regret little bit of danger like a first cigarette Mustang Sally to Kokomo sweet little Frannie from the Ebb and Flow} cheating songs along the highway to hell a little Patsy Cline and a little Kitty Wells honky tonk heroes on the radio Sweet little Frannie from the Ebb and Flow. {a night to remember, no regret little bit of danger like a first cigarette Mustang Sally to Kokomo sweet little Frannie from the Ebb and Flow}

Swing Low 02:32
I was looking for a maid she was looking for a place to live i told her, I’ve been thing about packing up and leaving this place she said I’ll be around just not until the sun goes down (i was feeling grateful, i hope it shows where its headed now, nobody knows sweet chariot, swing low sometimes holding on is easier than letting go) i was looking for a bar one that was open all night long the kind of place, if you stay late the whisky pours like in an Irish song she said I’ll stick around at least until you get your feet on the ground.

Country kitchen basement bar Gravel roads and falling stars West of the valley in a border town where we'll meet once the sun goes down Radio with a broke antenna Eight ball over old Vienna Still traveling highway three Wondering if you ever wonder about me Clearwater at the rivers bend McLaren's dog got loose again Three o clock set on the old main stage big yellow sun staring right in my face warm front rolls in from the south children playing in the schoolhouse Prairie harvest full moon ready or not winters coming soon Pembina with time to spare Passing through La Riviera it's last call everybody's going home almost like no time had past some things are still built to last like old friends, there's nothing like old friends} the drive home was quiet in the car the winds cried like a steel guitar I thought of you passing Boissevain halfway there and it started to rain I guess sometimes life just gets busy you out here and us in the city next time let's not wait so long some things you can count on
7.
Look away, look away, she’s leaving just let your mind go elsewhere a while there’ll be time for sad songs you’ll still be hurting for miles The city went quiet the day before yesterday even it’s ghosts went along Look away look away she’s leaving look away look away she’s gone autumn’s leaves crack like a rattle even the winds whispers her name my anxious heart beats like a drum she’s tail lights out flashing in the rain she asked, is this poetry or heartache? or just somewhere to lay the blame look away look away she’s leaving look away look away she’s gone.
8.
We sang of the old canal and the whiskey in our blood a chorus for my people The Murphy’s and the Stubbs before you go off guns a blazing sing a song instead may you get to heaven before the devil knows you’re dead My father left the Eastside on the Sumac street car rode it from Brown Derby to the Zanzibar grandad was the steward when the steel workers said may you get to heaven before the devil knows you’re dead Patrick was a tough kid from the wrong side of the tracks Grandma ran a Becker's Milk with a monkey on her back before the judge's gavel fell he just shook his head may you get to heaven before the devil knows you’re dead
